Job duties include:

Working on Informatica Utilities Source Analyzer, warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet Designer and Transformation Developer and Analyzing the sources, transforming data, mapping the data and loading the data into targets using Informatica Power Center Designer and Informatica Workflow Manager to create workflows, database connections, sessions and batches to run the mappings.
Performs the installation, configuration, and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of application run time environment, includes design and implementation of infrastructure from specifications, configuration and deployment of applications, connecting to back-end resources.
Integrating of various data sources like Oracle, MS SQL Server, XML files, Netezza, DB2, Flat files into staging area and different target databases and Creating reusable transformations to load data from operational data source to Data Warehouse.
Using Variables and Parameters in the mappings to pass the values between mappings and sessions.
Continually improve build automation procedures. Working with the Puppet automate build process for different applications.
Developing complex UNIX and PERL scripts to run batch jobs and workflows from On-Prem server an automated the test ruby scripts through Jenkins that is integrated with the Docker and Concourse to run unit and acceptance on daily basis.
Translate functional requirements into technical design and develop robust solutions for each planned release.
Documenting test plans, test cases, test scripts, test procedures, assumptions, and validations based on design specifications for unit testing, system testing, expected results, preparing test data and loading for testing, error handling and analysis.
